Black wood adds a modern feel to the organically graphic Folio look in 2021. The colour pays tribute to the wood of the mallet and the metal of the tools, both blackened and weathered over time. It is also a nod to the wood taken from the nearby forest that fuelled the Saint-Louis ovens in ancient times.
Adorned in black wood, the Folia portable lamp accompanies its user to illuminate a table, an office or even a patio or deck space. With a contemporary design, it suits many decorating styles. The crystal decor, cut with geometric bevels, blossoms into its verdant form where it meets the wood. Its glow reveals the brilliance of the bevelled cuts and the finesse of the graphics.
Marrying fine crystal and advanced technology, Folia's portable lamps are autonomous, nomadic and wireless. They can be used both indoors and outdoors, as long as they're not exposed to moisture. Rechargeable, the lamps have a battery life of up to 25 hours.
The portable lamps are made up of three parts:
A crystal body featuring bevels
A casing covered with stained wood that contains LED technology and a lithium-ion battery.
A handle in brushed brass (lined on the amber version), or bronze anodised aluminium adorned with a tactile switch, allowing the light to be controlled by a means of five luminous intensities.
