Almost ten years after the launch of “L’Âme de Christofle,” the House is inviting us on a colorful new journey featuring new designs.

Pure, essential, vibrant: “L’Âme de Christofle

L'Ame de Christofle cutlery in stainless steel, gold, rose gold and black PVD finishes.

Born of the meeting between Christofle and Eugeni Quitllet, each piece in the “L’Âme de Christofle” collection is cut from the material to give it a flat face with myriad reflections, like a mirror. The user is reflected in the object and becomes its soul. Designed with exceptional restraint and elegance, this flatware collection takes solid steel to new heights.

Eugeni Quitllet’s work always follows the same logic: in-depth research into techniques and materials to obtain the purest line. This total ergonomics research translates into pieces with a sensual, streamlined silhouette. Eugeni Quitllet transports us to his creative, analytical, and sometimes even poetic world.

Structured around cutlery, dessert and serving ware, the collection is being enriched with six new pieces:

  • A fish knife, which also serves as an individual sauce spoon. Designed to meet contemporary uses, this piece makes it easier to eat fish, which is often accompanied by a sauce. Its bevel allows you to meticulously cut along the length of fish and easily fold back the fillets.

  • A fish fork, designed in the purest tradition, perfect for separating and savouring fish’s delicate flesh.

  • An espresso spoon, fashioned in an ultra-elongated style like a stirrer, to enhance the coffee tasting experience.

  • A generously sized consommé spoon in line with eclectic gourmet trends. It proves ideal for enjoying consommés, small Asian soups, or chilled gazpacho.

  • A butter spreader with a wide cutting blade, which can be used just as well for butter as preparing appetizers or cutting certain cheeses during impromptu get-togethers.

  • A steak knife with a serrated blade, specially designed for easily cutting pieces of meat.

Sensual, eternal, timeless: the collection is adopting new colors

New shades are coming to enhance the pure lines of the flatware and add an extra dash of modernity to the finest tables.

These new colourways boast a polished shine finish, just like the original steel cutlery. Each shade reflects a particular state of mind, opening up the objects’ playing field. Everyone can find pieces to match their mood and personality.
