NasonMoretti - Asti - new for AW25

On the anniversary of the collaboration between Sergio Asti and NasonMoretti, the Venetian artisan brings back three iconic pieces from 1986: vases AS15, AS16 and AS17. Original forms, with colour as the new chapter.

What defines the new edition is colour.

The vases are made of opaline glass, reformulated in compliance with today's standards and free from arsenic. A choice that is not only technical, but conceptual: the luminous density of the opaline glass enhances the volumes, adds depth, and gently accompanies the transparency. In essence, it gives each object the space it needs to breathe.

The five new colourways - Opaline Anise, Opaline Iris, Opaline Panama, Opaline Pink and Opaline Sky Blue - reflect a broader investigation into colour and light.

At NasonMoretti, colour is not a finish.

It is a language. Its interpretation stems from deep knowledge of glass composition, a sensitivity to contemporary aesthetics, and a precise idea of elegance. Each hue is full, luminous, and measured.

In 1986, Alessandro Mendini described Sergio Asti's design ethos as follows: "A coherent and confident conception of this material-light [...] of the 'finenesses', the 'subtelties', the 'rediscoveries', the 'romanticism' that pass through the 'shining' and the 'colouring' of this extraordinary privileged material."

The AS15, AS16 and AS17 vases embody Asti's vision: his tension towards glass, his design intelligence, and the balance between gesture and function.
