SIEGER by FUERSTENBERG - SS22 New Collection

Updated: Apr 20, 2022

Beautiful Creatures

This new tumbler series from SIEGER by FÜRSTENBERG pays tribute to the beauty and variety of animal species. The wafer-thin porcelain tumblers with gold=plated interiors are colourfully decorated with elephants, tigers, polar bears, blue whales and octopuses. They also send an important message: wild animals living in their natural habitats are endangered and need our protection. That's why part of the proceeds will be donated to the wildlife rescue organisation National Park Rescue.

The Beautiful Creatures tumblers have been designed with loving attention to detail. Against the patterned backgrounds, the animals stand out with their own distinctive character.

The five animal species come from different parts of the world and represent both the beauty and vulnerability of nature. These species are endangered by poaching, dwindling habitats and ocean pollution. Polar bears are also emblematic of the dangers of climate change, as rising air and water temperatures pose an extreme threat to their survival.

The animal-themed tumbler series Beautiful Creatures is the latest addition to the collection Sip of Gold, bringing it to 38 models in total. Beautiful Creatures follows in the footsteps of SIEVER by FÜRSTENBERG's superhero-themed collection The Sparkling 4 & Friends, sales of which also raise money for a good cause: the Network for Democracy and Courage (NCD).

MY CHINA! Paraiso

The new MY CHINA! Paraiso design is a cosmos of fantastical plants, shapes and colours. Each item is an extraordinary unique piece in its own right, and the service as a whole forms an eclectic mix of patterns that colourfully celebrates passion for collecting and arranging. When Asian peonies meet traditional Majorcan weaving patterns, ornaments inspired by Portugal and tropical plants on the table, they tell tales of distant lands. Paraiso is like the journey to a place you long to visit - a tribute to the beauty of the earth, the diversity of cultures and the wonderful abundance of nature.
