Rosace

Archives de Gien

The Rosace collection reinvents the art of ornamentation in the bathroom. Inspired by Gien's other Monogram bathroom accessories, taken from the Faïencerie archives, it takes up their refined border motifs while asserting a new aesthetic signature" a central rosette replacing the monograms. The rosette, also from the archives, symbolises harmony, balance and refinement. The garden colour of this collection, a deep red, gices each of these pieces an aura of sophistication and warmth.

These objects make perfect gifts. They can also be diverted from their original purpose. The jewellery tray and soap holder, for example, can be used as valet trays. The tumbler, meanwhile, can be used as a small vase/soliflore for a country bouquet.

Bougeoirs

Candle holders

Gien's gifting offer has been enriched with new slender, subtly twisted candleholders. Their silhouette, inspired by the generous, cheerful shape of the berlingot (candy cane), evokes a graphic softness that captures the eye.

The coloured enamel reveals the volumes and reliefs of each twist, underlining the meticulous workmanship of the material. These pieces are enameled by hand. The coloured enamels are entirely designed and developed in-house. Available in three refined shades: Peony, Earth Grey and Fern, they will bring a singular and warm touch to any interior.

These candleholders can be elegantly combined with Gien's other collections. The fruit of masterful craftsmanship, this original creation strikes a harmonious balance between heritage and modernity.

Le Cavalier des Steppes

Archives de Gien

Beyond the dining room, the kitchen, etc... Faïencerie the Gien continues to invest all rooms of the house with its "casual chic à la française" thanks to this new collection of 'Le Cavalier des Steppes' desk accessories.

The decor, traditionally coloured blue on Prestige pieces, is here dressed in a cameo of browns, recalling the warm tones of leather and wood. Each piece is highlighted by a fine, elegant golden-brown border, like a previous photographic frame enhancing the scene. The patterns, delicately drawn from copper-plate engraving, reveal a subtle interplay of details.

This collection features two riders in two vast steppe landscapes, capturing the elegance of movement and the soul of wide open spaces.

Two new piece shapes make their appearance: a round candy box that can be diverted to store small objects (paper clips, staples etc), and a discreet rectangular tray that can be stacked inside the other card holders in the collection. The Vase, re-edited in brown for the occasion, is carefully dressed in its colours by our painters.

A hushed atmosphere emanates from these office accessories, conducive to concentration, discreet charm and the art of living at work. These pieces complete our gift/decoration offer and will also appeal to masculine sensibilities.

Rambouillet

Jean Bertholle

The Rambouillet collection is now enriched with new, mainly decorative pieces. They vividly highlight autumn foliage and undergrowth, using deep greens and warm browns. This contemporary recolouring echoes the very essence of the collection: an immersion in a rich, living sensitive forest landscape.

Originally created in 1952 at the request of Vincent Auriol, President of the French Republic, for hunting dinners at the Château de Rambouillet, the collection already celebrated the flora and fauna of the French forests.

Today, this reinterpretation brings together tradition and modernity, with an even more natural and contemporary palette that enhances the original, meticulously hand-painted design. The new Rambouillet pieces are an ode to nature, to excellent craftsmanship, and to the French art of living, between heritage and creation.

Pichets

Création Gien

Take a step up with Gien's new creation of earthenware pitchers, a resolutely contemporary creation with elegant, slender curves. Taller than traditional models, these pitchers feature a generous 1.2 litre capacity, an ergonomic handle and a refined buvant (spout). The shape of the pitcher's handle called 'Rouen festons', is directly inspired by the handle found on several iconic pieces in Gien's collections, such as mugs and cups.

From a technical point of view, the pitcher is made in a single piece, the handle being directly integrated during the moulding process. This process ensures harmonious aesthetics and reinforces the solidity of the whole, avoiding any point of fragility between the handle and the body of the pitcher.

Available in three designs emblematic of the Faïencerie: Tulipes, Les Dépareillées green and blue, they embody with finesse and elegance the living know-how of the manufacture, combining tradition and modernity. These pieces can also be used as vases.
